Parents are being galvanized into action

Local citizens are doing the job politicians and the local media can’t – or won’t – do.

They are monitoring the government schools and some of the things they are finding are disturbing.

Maleana Gay, a member of County Citizens Defending Freedom, posted some thoughts on Facebook that were then published in Eye on Jacksonville.

Gay is an energetic member of County Citizens Defending Freedom, one of several watchdog groups delving into the practices of the government schools, who influence more than 125,000 Jacksonville children.

While the local school board has retreated from its previous stance in which it said teachers would help prepare students for “gender transition” and keep it secret from the parents, Gay believes that there is a lot going on behind the scenes.

That practice is called “grooming” by some, but libs object to the term so let us use the terminology suggested by the satirical site Babylon Bee: “Person who has age-inappropriate sexual conversations with other people’s kids for the purpose of preparing or training them to be more easily exploited by political idealogues, gender extremists and pedophiles.”

Gay says she believes objectionable instruction is being “out-sourced” to non-profit foundations.

Gay said her investigation has uncovered pornographic materials in school libraries. No one can seem to account for it being there, but she believes it comes from a group financed by the federal government and various left-wing entities, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Racial identity politics and the sexualization of children, which now is illegal in Florida, are what these organizations do, in the guise of improving education, she said. If that is true, it would seem to be part and parcel of the Democrat Party’s unrelenting effort to move this nation to socialism and beyond, while altering its culture and traditions beyond recognition.

They really don’t do much to hide the agenda anymore.

Liberal schools claim they are merely “gender affirming” when they tutor and help young children attempting to change their sex and allow boys and girls to use the same restrooms and showers. But harmful side effects are ignored. Just this month, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration warned that puberty blockers used for that purpose could cause brain swelling, loss of vision, and serious risks for children injecting the hormone. Some of the victims find their lives ruined.

Portland’s public school system is indoctrinating its students to become queer activists as early as kindergarten through fifth grade, according to the Daily Wire.

The Florida Citizens Alliance says schools throughout Florida, including Duval County, contain pornographic books that are available to children.

The citizen’s alliance published a report listing some of these books and highlighting excerpts that are cringeworthy. Copies of the report can be downloaded at http://www.Floridacitizensalliance.com.

First Coast News reported in February that the school district had removed 10 books from the schools since 1978 and had not had any more requests for book removal in nearly 15 years.

One Clay County citizen made national news recently when he tried to read from one of the books available to students in a public board meeting. His microphone was shut off and he was told to shut up by the board’s lawyer, who admitted the material was obscene.

Gay said a phone app called The Brdsnbz allows students to text questions and get advice regarding sexual issues. “I tried this app and represented myself as a teen that had a friend that is pregnant and didn’t want to tell her mom. They directed me to a confidential abortion clinic.”

Decades ago, parents worried about sex education in the schools. But then it was mostly benign information about bodies and functions, reserved for children on the verge of becoming adults.

Today’s topics are sex ed on steroids.

Schools teach — with graphics –masturbation, oral and anal sex and other intimate topics to children from kindergarten on. They openly promote the absurd notion of attempting to change your sex and also spread racism through Critical Race Theory.

Parental rights are ignored and trampled on in this blatant attempt to usurp the traditional nuclear family’s responsibilities.

Since the 1960s, liberals have moved farther and farther left, and their policies have decimated families, increased crime and poverty and emboldened the nation’s enemies.

Until 2016, the Republican Party talked tough but did little to stem this tide even though it is a much more serious threat than rising seas from alleged global warming.

Today there is a grassroots rebellion gathering steam and liberals have made it clear they believe parents are part of the problem, not the solution.

The Duval County School Board needs more members who will stand with the parents and protect the children.
